Village Beyond Boundaries exists to remove barriers and expand opportunity for individuals and families through education support, essential-needs assistance, resource connection, and compassionate community outreach.
We envision communities where circumstances do not determine a person’s future and where every individual and family has access to the support, resources, and opportunities needed to move forward with dignity and hope. Sometimes changing a life begins by removing one barrier; we connect compassion with practical action so immediate support can become a pathway toward longer-term opportunity.
Our programs
Village Beyond Boundaries is designed around a focused program model that can grow without losing clarity.
Education and opportunity for pregnant and parenting students, including scholarship assistance, mentoring, resource navigation, and academic persistence support. The Mishawn Cook Armour Legacy Scholars Program is envisioned as more than a scholarship: it is a wraparound support initiative.
Essential-needs support designed to protect dignity and reduce immediate barriers through hygiene kits, baby essentials, school supplies, and family care items.
Resource navigation that helps individuals and families connect with trusted community organizations when needs extend beyond VBB’s direct services.
Need support? Request assistance through a structured intake pathway, find trusted referrals for food, housing, childcare, healthcare, education, transportation, and more, or ask a school, clinic, nonprofit, or community organization about partner referrals. Get involved through volunteering, giving essentials, hosting a drive, becoming a partner, corporate partnerships, or joining Mishawn’s Circle. Your support can help fund scholarships, essential-needs initiatives, community resource navigation, and service projects.
